OK, this was my first time at the Nest. And let me tell you, in my opinion, the place is fucked. I mean, first of all, $7 to see Black Flag, you gotta be joking. You know, I hate to put down Black Flag, cause to me they're the ultimate god-head band. But anyway, the bouncers are assholes. Like when we got there, we were talking to Eddie, of Eddie and the Subtitles, and he needed a piece of paper, so my friend Jim went up to a cop and asked him for a piece of paper. The cop told him to get out of his sight or he would kick his ass, and I heard the same cop pulled a gun the other night, so much for that, we'll never win. But what can I tell you, the two bands before Black Flag were good, sorry I don't know the names. But as far as the nest is concerned, well, I hope it burns down and I hope the owner goes with it. Black Flag is god.
