BLAGGERS ITA released their first single "Stresss" on EMI and has already created a lot of fuss in their english hometown. Radio DJ Simon Bayo judged the band as irresponsible, because the song would advertise shoplifting. The band responded: "Stresss" only shows the current situation in the english society, which promotes greed while the life standard of the "workers" slowly erodes.
BLAGGERS ITA aren't quiet anyway. About the deal with their new record label their singer Matty commented, "We went on, grabbed the EMI truck and will hunt through the grand windows of the music industry." They aren't just loudmouths, they also want to do something.
BLAGGERS ITA engage themselves politically in Anti Fascist Action; recently they protested in front of an english shop that sold neo-nazi and racist material. The fight against fascism, which they see as the enemy of free speech, is one of their most important aims.
Musically, they come along fighting with heavy guitars and hard BLÄSERSÄTZEN*. The bonus track "The Way To Die" comes from their indie album "United Colours Of...".
*What the fuck does this mean? Babelfish gives the meaning as corrode, which doesn't make sense. Maybe abrasiveness?
