The Dementlieu Punk Archive

do you dare to peruse the stacks?

2002/10/12: Fixed all the busted links. Sorry.

You've seen the virtual archive--now check out the physical one. As with the virtual archive, I'm more than willing to share what I've got, in the form of xeroxes/scans, as long as you plan on DOING SOMETHING with them, i.e. putting 'em on your website, using 'em as research for an article, or a book, or a paper, or something PRODUCTIVE*. If you do publish something and make use of the archive for research, a hardcopy for the archive would be appreciated. Xeroxing will incur a small fee (i.e. however much it costs me to xerox and mail the shit to you), scanning only costs my time, so ask nicely...and for god's sake, don't ask for a scan/xerox of something that's ALREADY ON MY WEBSITE. Just print the fucker out.

*Just being a nutcase fan and wanting xeroxes of interviews with your favorite band is NOT productive. At least, not in my book.

Visiting the archive in person is absolutely out of the question right now...

One day, I will index the contents of all these zines, and create a searchable database. This list is just first step in that process. I should be done with the indexing in a few months, and search capabilities will probably follow quickly.

This page will be updated whenever I finish an index, acquire a new zine or find one that I've missed.

Issue format is pretty self-explanatory. If there are two numbers seperaterd by a slash (i.e. 2/3), first number is the volume, second number is the issue, except Short News, where the numbers are the weeks (i.e. 2/3 August 1981 would be the issue for the second and third weeks of August 1981.).

Titles in BOLD have had the entire run of issues indexed, or I have a complete set of issues. Titles in ITALICS are either not going to be indexed at all, or only partially indexed.

This stuff is not for sale, but you're more than welcome to make me an offer that I can't refuse.

Alphabetically sorted index (by band/author).
