The issue of Touch and Go, from the summer of 1980, was the first to feature any kind of mention of the Fix. Tesco said: "D.S. is impressed with THE FIX...haven't heard 'em, but they supposedly have an ax man who plays at the speed of twisted thought." The cover would be re-used for the second (and last) Fix single, the rippin' Jan's Rooms EP.
