News

For those of you who don't know, this website is part of an even larger website dedicated to documenting music I like. Check the rest of it out, you may find it interesting...

COMING SOON:
Some more posters. More LP covers and discog info. More pictures, too.

ATTENTION COLLECTORS:
I have an extra copy of the Kerosene / Il Duce 12" test pressing that I am willing to trade for a select few items, namely: the Big Black live cassette, the Rema Rema 7" test pressing, or possibly other BB test pressings. Email me for more information.

2002/12/28: Added 1985/10/31 and 1987/01/19 posters to the pictures section. Added a fetures from the WHPK program guide #3 and Reflex magazine to the words section. More good stuff coming?

2002/11/02: Added cassette version of the Wailing Ultimate to the discog, as well as covers and liner notes for Racer X and reviews for Atomizer and God's Favorite Dog.

2002/10/14: Added some info about a Sound of Impact CD bootleg to the SOI page courtesy of Troy. And no, it's of no relation to the crappy CDRs that a certain anonymous collector has been selling on ebay. Some more discog info may be forthcoming... All images now enclosed in html pages. Picture section will be moved into its own directory next update.

2002/10/12: In the words section, there are a buncha new live reviews and four new articles, but I'm too lazy to link to all of them indvidually. In the discography reviews were added to Atomizer, He's a Whore, Racer X, Songs About Fucking and the Middle of America comp. Pics added to Bulldozer, and an advertisement was added to the Lungs and Bulldozer pages. More record covers to come.

2002/10/05: Lots of stuff has moved around, and the discography now has its own directory..

2002/10/01: Discog update: All comps except Bang Zoom now have cover pics. Some new 7" scans, and no more broken images.

2002/09/15: Update at last. Images added to many of the LPs/12"s in the discog, as well as a number of reviews and updated pressing info for the Sound of Impact and Headache/Hearbeat packages--just cruise around, there's too much to mention. Touch and Go Sampler also added to the discog. Some new articles in the words section and more on the way. Buncha new pics and posters as well, including some shots from Big Black's last show, courtesy of Charles Peterson. Updates should be more regular now that I have a new (and functional) scanner.

2002/07/14: Pathetically small update--just added the images from the It's Toasted CD to the discography as well as ads for Racer X and Atomizer.

2002/06/19: Scanner came back from the dead. Scanned in interview from Truly Needy 10 and stuck it on the words page. I still need a new scanner, since this one is even more tempermental than it was before...

2002/06/11: Your patience will be rewarded. Note that I didn't say it would be rewarded soon...

2002/05/18: Added It's Toasted stock number to the discography.

2002/05/08: Added Head Over Ears to the discog.

2002/05/07: Added interview from Thrash and Other Trash 2 to the words page. There's a great caricature of Steve in the issue that'll have to wait until I get a scanner.

2002/05/06: Added Bad Penny to the Pig Pile tracklisting. Seven fucking months that the tracklisting has been wrong, and no one bothered to correct me...

2002/05/04: Added Kerosene (boot LP) to the discography.

2002/05/02: Corrected spelling/grammar mistakes in lotsa places. Updated the band bio on the main page.

2002/04/29: Added last of the text from the Headache booklet. Pictures will have to wait. Corrected date of Live video in the discog

2002/04/27: Added new Lungs, Racer X, Atomizer, and Pig Pile reviews. Minor tweak to the discog page. Added posters to the pictures section.

2002/04/22: Updated Sound of Impact pressing info, added Kerosene/Il Duce 12", added Hog Butcher to the World page, rewrote a lot of the reviews and added some reviews from fanzines. Took the mp3 of Rema Rema down. You shoulda got it while it was hot...

2002/04/17: You will take it and you will like it. No new stuff right now. More soon. Honest. The BB interview in Flipside 55 turned out to be the same as cDc 84, so you don't get a new interview. Too busy to do much right now.

2002/02/25: Big honkin' update, Ink Disease and NME interviews to the words section. Code Blue, Happiness is Dry Pants, more Headache/Heartbeat stuff and many other small updates to the discog, including new scans for all 7" singles, and a format change for all the compilation entries. Added COMING SOON thingy to the news. Also uploaded Rema Rema for my loyal reader[s], so get it while it's hot. More shit to come...

2001/10/29: More liner notes up. Minor changes to all pages.

2001/10/28: Started typing up (and HTMLizing) some of the liner notes/drivel the Steve was so fond of writing. Rsults are viewable here, here and here.

2001/10/26: Every section now has at least SOME content.

2001/10/20: Ah whatthefuck, preliminary site (rough main and rough discography), now up one the web and available for public perusal. The interviews and pictures sections aren't done (or even started) yet. This site will change considerably over the next month or so.

2001/10/19: Just a bit fucking premature aren't you? The web pages aren't even finished yet.
